Applications are invited for this position on the staff of the Fund. It is a part time post, (9am – 1pm or 1pm – 5pm, Monday – Friday) Initial 18 month contract with possibility of renewal. Available from November 2007. You will manage the PEF’s subscription records, accounts and financial concerns (including tax, Companies House, Charities Commission, and payroll and pensions), and carry out the office clerical duties, including managing office stationary and postage supplies. You will work with the Honorary Treasurer with regard to financial matters, and with the Executive Director in the office. In addition you will support the Executive Director as required. Your job will also include managing the administration of the PEF’s publications and journal (Palestine Exploration Quarterly), and liaising with the relevant publisher’s personnel. Person Specification Education: Essential: 5+ O Levels / GCSEs. Desirable: A level or
equivalent are desirable Work experience: Experience in an accounting environment (up to Trial
